| For the first
four nights of your two-centre holiday we
will be staying at the very hospitable Hotel
Rosa in Begur. Renowned for its creative breakfasts
and outstanding cuisine, the hotel restaurant,
Fonda Caner, makes your evening meals that
little bit special. |
|
Hotel Rosa is in the centre of the medieval
town of Begur. The old town is home to numerous
monuments left as legacies of significant
moments in the town’s history and make it
an unbeatable place to spend your first nights.
Begur benefits from spectacular views whichever
way you turn. From the Begur Massif to the
extensive coastline washed by the Mediterranean
Sea, the small fishing coves and the Romanesque
centre. |
|
Your base for the last three nights is the
four star Hotel Gran Ultonia in Girona. Recently
refurbished to a high standard, the rooms
are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms
have one of the best walk-in showers ever.
A two-minute walk from the main square, Plaza
Independencia, and the historical centre,
Girona is a place to be discovered on foot.
A stroll along the walls surrounding the old
quarter, a coffee at one of the numerous cafes
scattered among the labyrinth of narrow alleys
or a walk through the beech trees of the Devesa
park, Girona has it all. |
