| How
to get here |
There are good bus links from Madrid to Astorga which are the shortest and most comfortable options and we are happy to book these for you.
When we start each season in May and September, as we will be passing through Madrid to get to Astorga we are happy to pick up guests in Madrid but only on those dates that are marked on the Dates and Prices page.
Most weeks we can pick up from Santiago airport as we return to Astorga to start a new week however if you are coming from Madrid it makes more sense to go directly to Astorga. |
| Do
we cater for vegetarians? |
Yes
- Spain is one of the main vegetable growing
areas of Europe; what you will be eating will
be good, fresh, local produce.
|
| Will
I have problems with the language? |
On our Best of Small Group Tours you will be accompanied by Spanish speaking support. In general as so many foreigners do the Camino most bars/restaurants/hotels and taxis have a smattering of English.
|
| Will
I like the food? |
You
will be pleasantly surprised at how good,
healthy and simple most authentic Spanish
meals are. You will eat mostly in well chosen local restaurants and hotels and will always have a choice of at least 3-4 dishes so you will always find something you will enjoy.
|
| What
if I don't want to walk? |
On our Best of Small Group Tours you can walk as far or as little as you wish each with the support of our vehicles.
We've tried to answer the most frequently
asked questions here, however if you've a
question we haven't thought of please give
us a call on 0800 612 4693, we're always here
