Travel Arrangements

We will personally collect you from Valencia or Alicante airport, which receive flights from many European cities.

Travelling by plane from the UK:

Direct flights to Valencia from: Bristol, London Gatwick, Stansted, Nottingham/East Midlands.

Direct flights to Alicante from: Birmingham, Belfast, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Doncaster, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, and Southampton.

We can also collect guests from Valencia rail and bus stations. If you are travelling by car we will send you detailed maps and directions.

Types of walk typical to this holiday

A guided walking holiday with Walks in Spain is designed to combine the pleasure of walking with spectacular scenery, stunning monuments and castles and nature's rich pleasures.

A typical walk ranges from five to twelve miles with no major climbs and is easy to medium underfoot. Walks are designed to be shortened or lengthened depending on the ability of the individual or the group. Your guide is always on hand to advise you. Bottled drinking water is supplied on each walk.

Should you not wish to participate on a walk on a particular day there are other options available without missing out on the excursion or lunch.
