The base for self-guided
walking holidays is the family run Hospederia El
Palen in the old medieval quarter of Segorbe. El
Palen is a recently refurbished bakery and oil mill
that packs plenty of character, charm and taste.
There are eight en-suite rooms with television and
telephone, some of which have their own balcony
with views over the rooftops to the distant mountains.
The hotel's cosy lounge area is crammed full of
curiosities and antiques, and it has the best cellar
restaurant in Segorbe offering a wide selection
of delicious home-cooked dishes. |
