Walks in Spain is a family owned walking holiday
company run by the son and father team of Paul Francis
Jnr assisted by Paul Francis Snr.
With family connections to the area, Mrs Francis,
mama and wife, is from Valencia, our experience
of the region goes back 40 years so we have extensive
knowledge of the best walks, places to stay and
eat as well as a good understanding of the history
and culture which we would be happy to share with
you.
The company, which is fully registered in Spain
as an autonomo, was originally started 5 years ago
providing holidays based at the Villa Milagro. The
original concept of the holidays was to provide
the type of holiday that we ourselves would like
to go on, with as much as possible done for our
guests leaving them free to relax and enjoy the
walks and beautiful scenery. We also wanted to address
the perennial problem that goes with many walking
holidays ie. 'what else is there to do if I don't
want to walk everyday?' The solution we decided
was to be in the countryside close to beautiful
walks but also near enough to the city of Valencia
to make a visit there a viable alternative.
After 2 years of searching we found the ideal
location, the Villa Milagro, and shortly after
provided our first holidays.
Since then things have gone from strength to strength
and with many of our guests returning we have
opened two more locations to provide new scenery
and new walks without compromising on the quality
and personal service which has satisfied our guests.
We are proud of the fact that 60% of our reservations
are from returning guests, some 3, 4 or even 5
times.
Our philosophy is to provide good varied walks,
interesting and enjoyable alternative activities
and a relaxing home from home environment that
ensures a successful holiday experience that you
will be pleased to tell your friends about. If
